Strange mount behaviour

Hello Managers ,
                  I have a system "Wildfire 5.1a pk4" ..
We had crash due to memory errors and after that one of the advfs
domains refuses to mount at boot up .
But the same advfs_domain mounts up . If one manually does ..

>mount /home/data

The warning I get at boot up is

"Cant stat /home/data ".

The advfs_domain is fine and there are no warnings on the domain.
Is it something I failed to notice or I'm looking in the wrong place .
Any pointers.
