Hi,

Here we have a Tru64 v5.1 which is sending me these "High event activity"
messages, but when I search the database for messages around that time, all
I can find is the "High event activity" message.

The suggestion in the message is to -

You can monitor low-priority events by running the
evmwatch(1) command with an appropriate filter, or by temporarily
reconfiguring the EVM logger to log low-priority events.

Given that this is only happening every once in a while, the only option
seems to be temporarily reconfiguring the EVM logger to log low-priority
events. Well its great to say things like that, but its another thing for an
idiot like me to work out what you all mean.

Currently I have not invented any event templates, and looking at the ones
in /usr/share/evm/templates/sys we are collecting a lot of event stats, all
of which tell be diddly squat about anything of interest. I guess the
simplest thing would be to replace all the current templates with one
template that collected everything for a day or 2 and then I might be able
to track down what is happening. Anyone got any ideas on how you go about
doing that.

Dennis
