Hi,

In the absence of any replies to this message, I assume nobody has ever
come across this before.

Cheers anyway,

Subject: Error messages whilst balancing domain

Hi,

After adding another volume into one of our domains, I ran the balance
command, and got the following output:

# balance lynx
balance: Balancing domain 'lynx'
balance: Can't move file <unknown> (setTag: 1.32770 (0x1.0x8002), tag:
1.32769 (
0x1.0x8001))
balance: Error = E_INVOLUNTARY_ABORT (-1185)
balance: Can't move file <unknown> (setTag: 1.32770 (0x1.0x8002), tag:
1.32769 (
0x1.0x8001))
balance: Error = E_INVOLUNTARY_ABORT (-1185)

<snip - error repeated 13 times>

balance: Balanced domain 'lynx'
#

Following the balance, the volumes don't all have the same space free,
although as one volume is much smaller than the others I'm not sure
whether this is normal...

# showfdmn -k lynx

This is on a Digital Unix 4.0E box.

Should I be worried about the error messages ?
