I found the answer on HP website. Suprise! it yields
valid results nowadays, unlike the compaq days. Thats
why i did not bother checking there first before
asking on the list (sorry).

GB card supporting Jumbo frames is DEGPA-TA (copper)
http://h18002.www1.hp.com/alphaserver/products/networking/index.html#ethernet

And the fact that it is supported on 4100 Alphas +
v4.0G is listed here:
http://h18002.www1.hp.com/alphaserver/options/as4100/as4100_%20%20-degpa-ta.html

and, and, and: last updated date: June 24, 2003
Woooowwwww, someone is really updating the facts
nowadays. I got my trust back on the site.

Side Note:: Has anyone tried/been able to use Intel
NIC cards on Alphas? (Who makes the HPQ branded
cards?)

_Thanks

Richard
