Tru64 4.0f and apache 2.0.46

Has anyone succeeded getting apache 2.x to work correctly with 4.0f? I
get about everything to work correctly except the digest stuff. I
tried compiling it using --enable-auth-digest and got errors about
/dev/random. So after reading the archives I downloaded egd and
installed that. I still get errors about it not being able to create a
"secret" file and not being able to find the file. Auth Type Basic
works fine......
