Thanks to Chris Eubank, Sheldon Wen and Stjepan Gros who all pointed to the swat daemon which is the web config daemon for Samba. They also pointed out additions to /etc/services - put swat on port 901 and a change to /etc/inetd.conf of the following
swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/local/samba/bin/swat swat

These had already been done by the install and I had HUPPED inetd and I tried a reboot, yet swat was not answering on the port. HP has also encountered the same thing back at the lab. It appears it should work, it just doesnt at this point.

Original note

I just loaded the Samba 228a patch on my 5.1 pk 6 system. I have been following the Internet Express admin guide working to get it configured. Under the Samba Server Administration selection there is an option to Configure the Samba Server which the instructions indicate that I should do. When I select this option my browser comes back with a "The page cannot be found" . It is looking for it on port 901. The Samba server is running.

Anyone have any experience with this? I called HP but it appears that Samba is freeware and is not supported.
