TRU64 V5.1B IPK Systems Paging

Hello,

Has anyone that has upgraded to Tru64 V5.1B IPK experienced excessive paging? We have several GS320s that have been upgraded and since then we have seen some odd behavior. The systems appear to be paging even though there is a ton of memory available. We cannot 'see' what user's processes are actually paging. Also, using 'lsof' we see many open files that show they are using 18446740095782045800 units of memory!

It may or may not be related, but, every file with the above memory usage is contained on an NFS mounted filesystem. I will probably open a call with UNIX Engineering about this, but it is a real pain getting files sent offsite for evaluation, so I thought I'd try you guys (& gals) first.

Thanks in advance,

Brian R. Staab
