Look her under "Product Firmware not on CD"

It looks like firmware V5.3B was the last release for AlphaServer 2100 systems. The information I sent you was from the Tru64 UNIX -vs- Alpha Systems Firmware matrix, which is not specific to any server. As long as you're running the latest firmware for your server type (which you are) you should be fine. I have an AlphaServer 2100 with EV4 233MHz CPU modules here in my lab. It's running firmware V5.3 and Tru64 UNIX v5.1A without any problems. Sorry for the confusion.

Original Question:

Could someone please point me to the firmware requirements for Tru64 v5.0A? I would like to upgrade an AlphaServer 2100 5/300 which is at firmware v5.3 to Tru64 5.0A and then eventually to 5.1A.

If someone out there has done such an upgrade I'd also like to get any words of wisdom/heads up advice you might be able to pass along about this kind of exercise.

Thanks,

Chris
