System: AS2100 OS: Tru64 Unix V 5.1 patch #5

Lindsay Wakeman pointed me to an article that was posted 1997

http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/mailing-lists/tru64-unix-
managers/9702/msg00357.html

Here is what I did:

(1) I installed the following:
CXLLIBA510 installed DEC C++ Class Archive Libraries
CXLSHRDA510 installed DEC C++ Class Shared Libraries

(2) I changed the following line in SWXCRMGR111.scp in the instctrl
directory:
         STL_DepEval CXXSHRDA??? || {
     to :
         STL_DepEval CXLSHRDA??? || {

(3) I installed the SWXCRMGR111
" StorageWorks RAID Array 200 Management Utility V1.1.1
   Copying from /MKMA/swxcr (disk)
   Verifying

1 of 1 subsets installed successfully.
No subsets matching "CXXSHRDA???" are loaded -- cannot
add "SWXCRMGR111" to any .lk file.
Configuring "StorageWorks RAID Array 200 Management Utility V1.1.1"
(SWXCRMGR111)
Now creating links from /usr/bin files to kit executable files.
Now creating links from /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults files to kit resource
files.
Now creating links from /usr/share/man/man8 files to kit man pages.

The StorageWorks RAID Array 200 Management Utility for Digital UNIX
Installation is now complete.
#

(4) Verified installation:
# setld -i | grep SWXCRMGR111
SWXCRMGR111 installed StorageWorks RAID Array 200 Manageme
nt Utility V1.1.1

(5) Now when I issue the command swxcrmgr on my DCE terminal it gives
me the message:
# swxcrmgr
SWXCR OPEN (/dev/rre0c): Device busy
SWXCR OPEN (/dev/rre8c): Device busy
SWXCRMGR: No valid xcr controllers found!
#
I have 2 swxcrs installed, I guess the namings changed for V5.1??
# hwmgr -view dev
HWID: Device Name Mfg Model Location

   42: /dev/cport/scp0 SWXCR xcr0
   43: /dev/disk/dsk0c SWXCR ctlr-0-unit-0

   58: /dev/ntape/tape0 DEC TZ89 (C) DEC bus-1-targ-4-lun-0

Any suggestions??
