My thanks for replies go to Jay Leafey, Oisin McGuinness, Collins Robert

The answers talk about /etc/issue and /etc/issue.net. These files
contain the text displayed before the login prompt, but I have no /etc/issue
or /etc/issue.net in my host configuration...

The other file where modified prompt is possible, is /etc/gettydefs but I can
see difference in this file between two stations with the same OS ...

The definition of my hostname in the prompt seems to be in this line:

console# B9600 HUPCL CS8 CLOCAL IXON OPOST ONLCR # B9600 SANE IXANY TAB3 CLOCAL
#\r\n\r\n%v (%h) %t\r\n\r\n\rlogin: #console

and specialy %h: the hostname variable

but I don't anderstand why this variable is wrong...

I try by myself a solution with CDE environnement

I insert in /usr/dt/config/C/Xresources this line:

Dtlogin*greeting.labelString: Welcome to KEVIN

!!######################################################################
!!
!! GREETING
!!

!! Dtlogin*greeting.foreground: black
!! Dtlogin*greeting.background: #a8a8a8
Dtlogin*greeting.labelString: Welcome to KEVIN
!! Dtlogin*greeting.persLabelString: Welcome %s
!! Dtlogin*greeting.alignment: ALIGNMENT_CENTER

It is not a resolution of the problem in fact, but the result is good when I see
the console log!

Best Regards,

Josiane Tack
