Dear All,
Help....!!! I have a 4100 running 5.1a which because of a faulty fan, I shutdown yesterday.
I restarted the server this morning and it just froze jumping to the bootstrap code.
All that is displayed on the console is as follows
b dka500.5.0.1.1
(boot dka500.5.0.1.1 -flags A)
block 0 of dka500.5.0.1.1 is a valid boot block
reding 14 blocks from dka500.5.0.1.1
bootstrap code read in
base = 200000, image_start = 0, image_bytes = lc00
initailizing HWRPB at 2000
initializing page table @ Lf2000
initializing machine state
setting affinity to the primary cpu
jumping to bootstrap code.
< PAUSES>
as in the example above, I have tried booting from a 5.1a, 5.1 and 4.0F CD as well as the boot drive but all have the same effect of pausing at jumping to bootstrap code.
under the bios prompt all the devices show as available and no errors are displayed.
Any and all assistance is much appreciated.
