Provided there is an NHD6 for the release you want to use, you should
have everything that was supported in NHD5 supported at least as well
in NHD6. I'm not sure "cumulative" is the right word, but nothing we
supported in an NHD5 kit for a given release will have gone away in
the NHD6 kit for the same release, and in some cases the support for
a given component will have critical bug fixes you'll want. All of
the same bug fixes are in the corresponding (in time) patch kit for
the release that was originally supported by the prior NHD kit, so
if you are looking for fixes for the older installation, just get
the new patch kit and install that.

Clear as mud?
