This is a very late summary, but I was hoping for better information, possibly from our vendors, but it doesn't look like there is much hope.
I did receive a very quick answer from Dr. Blinn, who explained how the VME Alphas developed at Digital came to be sold to us from "Force" - the Digital name is still visible on the parts - and summed up my situation with the following:
"If you don't have working stuff at this point (that is, instances of
options in another system that actually work that you can examine to
try to figure out who built them), you are probably going to be out of
luck. Because I don't have ANY idea where I would turn to try to find
the information you are seeking. I can tell you that most of the stuff
that MIGHT have worked with Digital UNIX V4.0D is likely no longer
marketed, and might even be hard to find used."
This seems to be the situation now.

This isn't exactly a match for the list, but we need the hardware to run under Tru64, so...
We're assembling a set of Alpha based machines in VME cages. For a couple of the machines, we would like to have a graphics display option that is compatible with Tru64 version 4.0d that we are running (to match another set of machines that are already in use).
Additionally, an ATM option, optical, would be nice, if anyone has a suggestion.
With the cage, we can support VME cards, or we have the option of using PMC modules.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
