--- No reply from this list, but I got in touch with people, who reported using LAG earlier in the list. The answer is to configure Cisco switches to use etherchannel (i.e. no LACP or PAGP). With switch ports that LAG interfaces connect to configured into etherchannel everything started to work correctly.
