Hi Managers,
has someone a linked bash shell for V4.0G?
I upgraded from V4.0d to V4.0G. The old shell from V4.0D was not running
because of a library mismatch. The I downloaded from Open Source
different
Bash distributions (from 1.14.7 to 2.04. Try to make a new shell but
was not succesfull.
Then one of my graduate students more experienced with Unix tried to
build a new bash. After have a day he gave up.
Therefore: Does someone know where to get a completely linked bash for
V4.0G?
(It is not a problem for V5.1B, here one can easily one with rpm from
the freeware CD)

(PS: I cannot uprade the V4.0G system to V5.1B because it is a
Turbochannel box
and most of our users have a bash as default shell and therefore cannot
use
without modifikation this particular system))
