Hello Tru64 Gurus,
We have some xp1000s running a Java app. We want to reduce the volume of
beeps that occur in the app. The beeps are embeded within
the app itself. I know there are java utils that can control the volume
(audiocontrol), but users cannot normally access this utility; they get the
app itself and thats it.
Is there a way, within .Xdefaults, or what-have-you, to set the volume
level to, say 25%? I could turn off beeping completely, but this isn't whats
needed. I need to reduce, but not eliminate, the volume of the beep.
