Many thanks to Olle Eriksson and Bryan Dunlap who explained me that
sshd must run
OR by
/sbin/init.d/S34sshd at boot time
OR by inetd
So I simply renamed /sbin/init.d/S34sshd to sbin/init.d/was_S34sshd so
that il will not start anymore at boot time.
I have to say that I run sshd (home compiled) from several years during
which I alway had /sbin/init.d/sshd run at boot time
AND an ssh entry in /etc/inetd.conf and I never had any error of the
kind "ssh/tcp: bind: Address already in use"
Thank you very much,
Ciao,
Emanuele
