What makes a tape drive supported or Not supported as
far as the server (Not OS) is concerned?
Is is the connector devices?

Hi,

Is anyone successfully utilizing the hp StorageWorks
MSL5026S2 tape library attached to an Alpha server
4100?

Under server support, 4100 is not listed. Only GS160,
GS80, ES40, ES45 and DS20E.
Is there any reason to doubt that it wont work on a
4100?
Under Software support, v4.0G is listed, which is what
i have.

Please educate.
