Apparently, Elvis has left the building as far as our alphastation is
concerned. If anyone could point me to some used DEC vendors, I would
be much appreciative. Thanks to the following folks for possible solutions:

1 Verify that there is a secure connection between the system
        module and the I/O module.
Verify that all power cables are connected correctly.

I've used the 3000/600 quite a bit, a very similar machine IIRC. You may have
a toasted MoBo. I would try reinstalling the firmware - any recent Compaq
firmware disk will have firmware for the 3000 on it. If that doesn't do the
job, then you probably are in the soup.

fishtank@web.de:
a bit of googling brought the following:
> "Ok... code F0 means the machine is doing "Execution transfered to
> console code", according to the manual if it stops there it "cannot
> execute console code".
The thread can be found here:

stan@temple.edu:
The firmware might have gotten hosed on the sysem or the disk
storage controller. Try searching HP's web site for documentation
on that system and the OS to see if anything turns up that could
be helpful.
