SUMMARY: SDLT device LVD?

The onboard SCSI controller used in the DS25 has the AIC-7899 chip from
Adaptec. This being a FWSE controller chip is not supported for the
SDLT
110/220 drive.

Attached to the KZPCC controller (that's a LVD RAID controller) we
could
see the SDLT device, but the OS did not recognize it. According to the
URL below there is no planned driver support for removable media
devices
such as tape drives or CD-ROMs on the KZPCC Backplane RAID Controller.

Following controllers *are* supported for SDLT device on the ds25:
3x-KZPCA-AA
3x-DEPVZ-AA
