RA3000 expansion problem

Hi all,
I have one RA3000 Pedestal Model (dual HSZ22 Controller) connected with Alphaserver4100. To add more disks of 36.4GB, I have to use one Expansion Box.
I have 2 queries for adding Disks on RA3000 Box:

a) When I tried to upgrade the Firmware of HSZ22 from D110 to D11X using SWCC version 2.0, I couldn't get "FIRMWARE
UPGRADE" option highlighted on the screen. This option comes after clicking STORAGEàCONTROLLERàUPGRADE FIRMWARE.
I tried to do this upgrade using Hyperterminal option but it required .TXT file in place of .FDI file, which is available on the Web site. .FDI file is used by SWCC procedure.
 How can I upgrade Firmware of HSZ22 Controller?

b) There is no Device Out (D1 OUT) SCSI port on the RA3000 Box. Only 2 Host ports and 2 dummy slots for D1 OUT are available on the Box. Expansion Box has one port for D1 IN.
I have one SCSI cable for Dummy slot but I don't know where to connect this inside the RA3000 Box.
