what port does incoming requests for ssh arrive on?

Hi everyone,

I am setting up a ssh client. I have created the private and public keys. I
can ssh to the remote host outside of our firewall, but I keep getting a
"connection refused" error. I know that the outgoing packets are routed thru
port 22 to for ssh. But port does the incoming requests from the remote
server back the my localhost for ssh?
