I hope this is not off topic.
I planned to install sendmail.org 8.12.6 on my Alphas. I had no problem in
the building of the binaries, and in the generation of the various
sendmail.cf files from my previous local configuration m4 files.
However I saw that by default sendmail 8.12.6 runs not set uid to root,
with two cf files (sendmail and submit) and with special user groups. The
documentation says one can revert to the traditional way of operation
(consistent with what we have on our other machines) with
sh ./Build install-set-user-id
but apparently this does not find the appropriate make target. Any idea of
the commands necessary for this "traditional" installation ?
