Hi Tru64 Managers,
Need your help to resolve my problem regarding
keyboard mapping on console. Somehow in certain
situation, Caps Lock key behaves like Ctrl key,
likewise Ctrl key behaves Caps key. Vertical bar/pipe
character can be typed.
I've tried to do rescan hardware/device:
#hwmgr -scan compon -id <kbd dev id>
Also restart dtlogin process:
#/sbin/init.d/xlogin restart
Loading keyboard setting:
#/usr/dt/bin/dxkeyboard -load
But they don't help at all. Ultimately by rebooting
the server, I believe that will solve my problem. But,
that is not what I want, since it's the production
server.
How could I do that? Pls. advise.
