NEWBIE: Sendmail-incorrect user name on email address

Hello

We only allow sendmail on our TRU64 (V 5.0) to send out the email. We
do not allow incoming email.

I have a user (username: schrette Unix machine name:team) yet her email
address should be schrettemacnamera@othermachinename.ca.

I have put an entry in the alias file as
schrett: schrettemacnamera@othermachinename.lu.ca

but the email still show as schrette@team.lu.ca. Therefore any return
mail fails because of not such address.

How can I get her outgoing email address to change to the correct
'schrettemacnamera@othermachinename.lu.ca
