No one responded with where it is located on the open source cd but I have the following answers.

You can get the sources for md5sum in the GNU textutils (new versions will be known as "coreutils"). I downloaded mine here:

Original question

I am trying to get MD5 installed. I found a couple references in the archive which pointed to the Open Source CD. I have looked on the 5.0 open source CD and I do not see it. Can someone point me to the file location and name. I have looked for md5 and MD5 and I see nothing.
