Summary: Setting up a HP4si and HP4si with Jet Direct Card

Original question:
I was tasked with finding out if I can move two printers from a Dec
Server 500 (serially) to put them on the network. I have a Jet Direct
Card for a 4si. Have anybody set either printer up on a TCP/IP network??
What should I be on the look out for?

It should be just like setting it up from my Tru Unix box for a remote
printer but I have to have a host for it.

I will print to it from my Alpha Server.

There were a bunch of people who responded (somehow my mail arrived on 2
seperate systems so I don't have every body on the list)
Thanks to everyone.

This question basically had 3 parts to it.
The one related to this list was to do this
Add a line something like this to the /etc/services file
hpjd 9100/tcp # HP Jet Direct Printer
Crank up printconfig (in my case it was lprsetup because I am on 4.0g)
Set the printer up. I used the HP4000tn for this printer.
lp is the host name and you need the hpjd after it
rp is the print queue and must be text or raw - Raw will
allow the computers connected to it to give the drivers stuff

The other parts of the question weren't really related to the list.
But to get the printer Win 9x to print to the print server look on
HP site for INPW (install Network Printer Wizard)
AIX was the third part just to finish the question.
