wwidmgr limits

Happy new year to you all!

We have a GS160 2 node cluster with about 400 FC disks attached to it. it
boots off an HSZ70 which we want to change to a HSG80 for obvious reasons!

Problem is that wwidmgr hangs if we do a wwidmgr -show wwid. The reason for
this appears to be because there are so many disks with wwid's out there in
the fabric.

short of disconnecting my data disks does anyone know if

A) there is a limit for wwidmgr?
B) a way of making wwidmgr just see the hsg80 disks?

thanks

PS the last time we tried we left wwidmgr running for about 10 mins, then we
had to power cycle the machine to get control back.
