Tru64 and Oracle Issue

Hello Tru Gurus,

NOTE:
To trouble shoot this issue I've already tuned the Kernel according to
Oracle and Compaq/HP. By the way this issue ONLY happens on a DS20E
running Tru64 5.1A(Build 1885) Server, it's running okay on an ES40
Server running Tru64 5.1A(Build 1885)

Question:
Have any of you guys seen/gone thru this issue? Is there any tuning I
need to do to the O.S.

FYI:
The oracle DBA has been blaming the O.S/Hardware on an oracle issue.
 When DBA tries to extend/add indexes oracle core dumps and logs the
following in the trace files:
