Thank you Paulo!

I received this from Paulo Lucente:

 Hello Dana,
to do some nat stuff from simple configurations to more tricky ones my
positive advices go to ipfilter. It's homepage is at
 http://coombs.anu.edu.au/~avalon/, it's a free software and fully
 documented.

 Cheers,
 Paolo

Checking that page, The link to the Tru64 file is broken, but I found a
version (ipf40a26.tar.gz ) for the Alpha.
I have run into a compiler error while doing "make tru64" that I'll need to
get past but I think this is what I am looking for. I have seen it on
FreeBSD before (I'm a huge FreeBSD fan from way back). I may well end up
using a FreeBSD workstation for my link but will try everything I can do use
my Tru64 V5.1a system working with it first.

Cheers,
Dana_H
