There were many suggestions but the answer appears to be the led's on the
mother board. They indicate that the system failed NVRAM test. I remember
an error to that effect in the past but the system booted anyway.
Orginal question:
I have an Alphastation 400 4/233 which appears to have died. When I power
it on I can hear the fan on the power supply come on. However, nothing ever
appears on the screen and it doesn't appear to ever hit the hard drive. It
is only a test machine so if it is dead it's no big deal but it was nice to
have.
