XP1000 Diag LED Question

Hi,

I know this is a hardware question, but I figured that I'd try anyway.

There's a site here with an XP1000 that won't boot. The system has some
sort of fundamental problem with the hardware as when the machine is
powered on, there is no raster to the video monitor. We confirmed that the
monitor is working properly by connecting it to another machine (it works
fine there).

I had client open the box to examine the diag LED's. The LED's are
numbered D21 through D14 (presumably MSB to LSB.) The code listed is "DC"
or on-on-off-on-on-on-off-off. We don't have any Owner manual or other
docs that might help us translate the code.

I would be most grateful if anyone on the list could tell me what this
code translates to.

Site was updating the firmware when the problem cropped up. I have a funny
feeling that the error message is a SRM checksum failure or something
fairly fundamental. We're trying to do some basic troubleshooting because
the computer does not had a hardware service agreement. We don't want to
call in the troops unless we know what sort of repair we're dealing with.

Thanks in advance.
