HWMGR Quirk on Alphaserver GS-80

Hello,

We just aquired a brand-new GS-80. Its got 2 building blocks
each with 3 CPU's and 6GB RAM. I intend to run it as a monolithic
system:

   6 CPUs and 12GB RAM

It came factory loaded with TRU 64 V5.1A. I have since done another
V5.1A load on it. The factory load was on what is called a Fizz<SP> disk?

Here is the quirk:

It has a shelf with 8 disks in it. When I reloaded TRU64 I put the
O/S in the disks on that shelf. The thing boots fine etc. The device
files for all disks are there etc.

However the following command:

     # hwmgr -scan scsi

           and then

     # hwmgr -show scsi

Does not show that any of the disks on that shelf exist? HWMGR shows
the CD-ROM, the Fizz disk, and two KGPSA fiber channel adapters only.

The O/S has no problems using/accessing the disks on that shelf.
HWMGR does not display them. Anyone have any thoughts/ideas. I expect
this is a known issue with a fix/patch/workaround?

Steve
