Managers,

Tru64 4.0g - I set up the server as NIS client and started the ypbind as
ypbind -S intec.co.za,hawk.
running ypcat I can see the password entries. Ypwhich shows me the server
hawk.intec.co.za

I can su to a user usera that is in the NIS map and this works OK. However I
cannot telnet, rlogin or ftp, into the machine with the user usera
loginname

the /etc/svc.conf file has the password=local,yp set correctly as well as
the group=local,yp.

I am now at a loss. Everything looks fine. Any clues.

Regards

Unix like TeePee no windows, no gates, Apache inside.
