As always, I have received many great information. I like to thank to
Uwe Lienig, Chandra, Peter George, Br. Blinn, and Robert Brinkley.
Command dd is the most popular choice; command "scu format" and "diskx" are
also being mentioned. I like to post Dr. Blinn's recommendation:

We have retired several disks. I like to erase all
data from the disks. What
is the best method to accomplish this task on Tru64
V4.0F and V5.0A?
