HI tru-manager:
I have a CD for install V5.1A O.S. (rev 1885) in a alpha station 255.
when I use (from DCE) software installation -> Installation -> where there
is SWE -> CD (/dev/disk/cdrom0c) -> shows me Tru64 Unix V5.1A ...
-> Determining SWE on media...
setld - you are attempting to install from a dist. media that has different
version that what you have.
you have: Tru64 Unix V5.0A - rv 1094.
Please use a distr. media that matches a version that you have.

Question:
am I doing something wrong, because the purpose of installing a new
O.S. is because I have a different version installed !!!.
can I do a single install (only one machine) and then have a cluster
?
