Hi all,
1. I 'm implementing TruCLuster of 2*ES40 Servers (Qlogic Differential SCSI Controller) with RA3000 Box. I have gone through systematically as per Patch Kit 3 implementation Guide i.e.- Installing OS on one Disk then installing TruCluster S/W savesets and lastly Patch Kit-3 & following commands:
# /usr/sbin/versw -setnew
# /usr/sbin/versw -switch
# /usr/sbin/clu_create
After installation of both Cluster members, I was unable to open "sysman station".
Moreover at the time of booting it takes very long and also login as root, screen opens very late.
After this I removed the patch, re-created Cluster. Now "sysman Station" is working fine and also login is very fast.
Is this a known bug of PK3?
2. I 'm facing some problem related to Qlogic Differential SCSI also, getting following
messages 2-3 times at the time of booting only:
CAM_LOGGER:scsi event packet
CAM LOGGER:bus0 target 255 lun 255
itpsa scsi HBA
SCSI bus reset
isp_process_response_queue
unexpected bus free CSEC status reported
active CCB at time of error
timeout on disconnect request.
Are these messages normal with Diff. SCSI or I have to look at Hardware?
