I have a 4.0f Alpha 433au that I used to test the possibily of
creating an image for CD burning. I did this:

        tar cvpf - /mnt | dd of=/dev/rz29c

where rz29 was a raw device (no disklabel)

Now rz29 has a disklabel of disk CDROM and partition a is CDFS. I
have tried disklabel with every option I can find, and zeero, and nothing
can write to this disk to let me clear the disklabel, or write another one.
The disk shows up as read-only and I can't write to it.

How do I do this? Is the disk permanently damaged?

thanks
