Thank you very much to everybody who responds me. I need to enable Enhanced
Security. The parameters I asked for are in /etc/auth/system/default and are
the following:
u_exp#15724800 and
u_life#31449600
these will deal with the weeks of validity
u_pwdepth#n
this will deal with the numer of passwords 'saved' eg preventing reuse
u_maxtries#n
this will deal with the numer of failed attempts before locking an account
d_pw_site_callout=/tcb/bin/pwpolicy
this will deal with dictionary requirements
We can edit the file directly, or in dxaccounts, looking for view local
templates,
and selecting default, and security this will allow us to enter some of the
parameters above in number of weeks, and not time
All the information about it is in the Security Manual, especially in the
appendix F
