Hello,
We run the SCT Banner software to run our college's business on an
Alphaserver with TRU 64 Unix V5.1. Currently the version of Oracle
we run is 8.1.7, for the Banner product we need also Microfocus COBOL.
BTW, Microfocus COBOL is distributed with the quarterly TRU 64 Unix
layered product set.
We are looking at upgrading TRU 64 to V5.1A and Oracle to 9i
For the Banner product to use Oracle 9i, we now need a product called
"Server Express" COBOL apparently also a Microfocus software product.
I can find reference to "Server Express" COBOL on the Microfocus site
but no specific information about platforms, licensing, how to buy, etc.
Can someone provide me with specific info?
