I'm running true64- version 5.1
problem: none of the messages are being displayed on the dxconsole
window. the console log says the following:

"The system has detected that you may be using a serial
console. Messages written to "/dev/console" will be
displayed on your serial console. This dxconsole window will
not display any messages while a serial console is in use."

yet, I have no serial connections on the serial ports.

I did install operating system through terminal server. this may have
been source of problem.

can anyone help to suggest what I can do to make messages display on
dxconsole window?
