Yuk. What a mess. A lot of "stuff" falling uder the new HP. Has anyone
trapped Tru64 events in OpenView? I know that's kind of a large question.
Maybe I can scale it down to, does anyone know of a good resource for T64
SNMP information (i.e., how it works, what apps are snmp enabled, what tools
can be used to trap and display events, etc.)? I'm new at snmp. I know a
bit about perf. mon. and CIM, and can bring up the browser to port 2301 to
use CIM to view some things. I've tried searching the archives, but haven't
found much helpful. I have Tru64 5.1 PK4 and have installed the new CIM 3.0
agents. I guess in short, I would like to know what MIBs need to be
installed (and where), what are agents, and how does this all tie into the
different Insight Manager products?
