Q : GS140, 5.1A HSG80 : No booting possible if Lun's are active

Hello gurus,
I have a configuration like this :
GS140, firmware 6.0
Tru64 5.1A, Patch kit level 1
3 HSG80's firmware 8.6p4

The problem is that when we boot, after having creating Lun's on the HSG80,
the system hangs when it arrives at "LSM boot mode".
If we start the system, using the option "noautoconf" for vold, everythings
are
all right. But this option is not supported by Compaq.

Any help would be appreciated
