clu_quorum fails, but quorum seems to exist in 5.1A cluster

We have a 2 node + quorum disk 5.1A cluster over memory channel.

When I do a clu_check_config, quorum seems fine:

Number of members configured in this cluster = 2
memberid for this member = 1
Cluster incarnation = 0xa3a71
Cluster expected votes = 3
Current votes = 3
Votes required for quorum = 2
Quorum disk = dsk37h
Quorum disk votes = 1

but when I do a "clu_quorum" it complains about:

framework error: connection problems

and doesn't have the quorum info:

Attribute Running Value File Value
current votes N/A
quorum votes N/A
        :
framework error: connection problems
framework error: connection problems
/usr/sbin/clu_quorum[99]: TotalUpMembVotes=0+: more tokens expected

The only thing I am suspicious about is whether we pulled something
out of /etc/inetd.conf that is preventing this from working -
all we have in there is the rshd entry.

Anyone have any clue what might be going on?

TIA!

Judith Reed
