Trucluster Question.

Hello all,

We've just had an ES40 sent to us from an overseas office for the purpose of
Oracle development. It has two storageworks shelves full of disks. It's
currently running Tru64 v5.1 and I've installed TruCluster v5.1. It has no
memory channel hardware and I have no intention of actually physically
clustering it with another machine.

However, the Oracle DBA wants me to set it up as if it is in a cluster, so
as to have a development OPS environment. So then my question is, is this
possible?

I've installed the cluster subsets and run clu_create giving all relevant
information. Quorum disk with 1 vote and 1 vote for the system. It complains
about there being no MC adapter but lets me continue, the clu_create
completes succesfully. Then on boot it gets stuck at the message:
TNC kproc_creator_daemon: Initialized and Ready
CNX QDISK: Adding 1 quorum disk vote toward formation

Any ideas, or comments?

Thanks,

Robert Mulley
