SUMMARY: All accounts are disabled after system crash

I erred in setting trying to adjust the system clocks! The systems were
not happy that the year jumped to 2035. (Where I thought the "seconds"
column was located, was actually the "year" column.)

I rebooted both nodes into single-user mode, corrected the date problem, and
life goes on....

Thanks for the replies.

Robert

Subject: All accounts are disabled after system crash

Tru64 Managers:

One node of our two-node cluster has crashed. Now, no one -- not even root
-- can login. The error returned is:
"Account is disabled -- see Account Administrator."

I even tried command-line login at the console as root. There is an error
about the security tables being corrupt.

I do know this is related to "C2" security, based on reading another Tru64
summary.

Any quick suggestions on how to get out of this mess? Users who are still
logged-in [to the other cluster member] aren't affected, apparently.

Thanks,

Robert
