patch kit version

Hello managers
I want to know commands used to check present patch
kit versions installed in a system.In "setld -i" it
will show the type of patches/applications installed
but not patch kit version.
i downloaded some patches from compaq site but to load
this patches in patch requirement, system should have
loaded with patch kit ver7(pk7).How to know this.
where can i download patch kit ver like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.
I have a system of alpha workstation 500au with 4.0f
waiting for ur replies
