How to use Collect, in the real world?

Hello All,

I've been reading some about Collect and some-what understand the mechanics
of the tool.

What I'd like to know is how do you use the collected data in the real
world?

I'm looking at maybe using MRTG and maybe Big Brother once I get a spare box
to play with and time to figure them out. Is anyone feeding collect data to
MRTG? If so, can I pick your brain on how it's all put together?

I see the definite potential with these tools, but each one seams a little
overwhelming in itself let alone trying to figure them all out together.

Any help would be appreciated. If I can, I would like to develop a
boiler-plate from your responses with which I will summarize.
