SUMMARY: Using mailx to send email with alternate variable origin ating add ress

Thanks to all who responded. The issue was resolved partly by using mailx
-r command in the process, and partly by adding the truncated username into
Exchange as an addition address. A little more administration, but will
suffice until Unix gets away for 8 character usernames.
