Greetings admins:
We are currently experiencing severe performance problems with sybase 12.0
running under tru64 5.1 on a 3 way es40 with 6.5G of memory, 2 raid 1+0 luns
hosted by an HSG80, multibus failover. Sybase is utilization AdvFS
filesystems on the disks. We do not use lsm.
Memory utilizations looks fine, cpu looks find, disk io looks fine, network
looks find, san switches are not being hit hard. As I am not by any means a
performance or tuning guru, I am at a loss of where look or what to go about
tweaking to give us more performance.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated. I will summarize to the list.
